Massive fire has been reported from the Times of India (TOI) building in the national capital. At least six fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. Evacuation process has been initiated.
The fire was reported at 2:20 PM. As the flames began to soar, the fire brigade officials were alarmed about the incident. Fire broke out at the fourth floor of the building. The cause of fire cannot be ascertained as of now. Hundreds of employees within the building are being evacuated in a systematic manner by the fire brigade personnels.
The Times of India office is located at ITO, near Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. It is one of the prominent areas in Delhi, housing a number of important commercial and public bodies. The fire at TOI office has created a panic in the region.
As per the latest visuals, the flames have been doused to a certain extent. Fire tenders are targeting the the fourth floor of the building, from where the flames are spreading. 10 more tenders are expected to reach shortly.
