Rom-com Ishq Positive, starring
(and directed by) Noor Bukhari and Raga Boyz singer Wali Hamid Ali Khan, has a
new cast member to flaunt. And it's none other than Happy New Year actor Sonu Sood.
The
Bollywood actor has made a brief appearance in the film - a decision influenced
by his friendship with Wali.
A source
close to the actor told, "Sonu and Wali are good
friends. So when he was approached to play a sutradhar (or storyteller) in the
film, he couldn't refuse."
The
actor shot his part for the film in Film City studio in Mumbai.
Ishq Positive also stars Saud,
Shafqat Cheema, Saim Ali and Durdana Butt. It was initially slated for an Eid
ul Azha 2015 release, but was delayed when the initial director Sangeeta left
the project.
While
the new release date of Ishq
Positive is unknown,
Sood will next be seen in Indo-Chinese production Kung Fu Yoga with Jackie Chan.
