Chinese
electronics company Xiaomi has unveiled a new Redmi 3S smartphone in China,
with starting price of CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 7,000).
The global
availability of the smartphone is not announced by the company yet.
The 3GB of
RAM and 32GB of storage model is priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,000).
The
smartphone features a five-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and runs MIUI
7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone also sports a 13-megapixel rear
camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and a five-megapixel front camera
with 1080p video recording capability.
The device
would come in grey, silver, and gold colour variants.
