India’s
batting legend and one of the greatest cricketers of all time, Sachin
Tendulkar, underwent a left-knee surgery on Wednesday.
Tendulkar,
who is on a bed rest for a brief period of time, posted a picture of his
operated knee on the social media platform Facebook.
"Some
injuries trouble even after retirement, but I will be back very soon doing the
things I enjoy. Had a knee operation & resting," Tendulkar wrote on
his Facebook page along with the image.
