Sunny Leone joins the cast of Sonakshi Sinha's Noor

Guess who joined the cast of Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming Noor! Sunny Leone.

She'll play the role of a Bollywood actress in this adaptation of Saba Imtiaz's novel 'Karachi, You're Killing Me'

According to Mumbai Mirror, the Jism 2 actor is playing a Bollywood actress in an extended cameo for the upcoming slice-of-life flick.

"Sunny will shoot with Sonakshi over three-four days, she began on Thursday." informs a source close to development.
Producer Vikram Malhotra confirms the news, "Yes, Sunny is a part of our movie and appears in key scenes. It's a role which only Sunny could play. You'll realise when you watch the movie."
He adds, "Casting her was our director's (Sunhil Sippy) idea."
Sunny Leone herself does not reveal much about her character but claims that it was fun shooting with Sonakshi.
"I wish the team all the best," she said.

Noor is based on the novel Karachi! You're killing me by Saba Imtiaz. Sonakshi Sinha will be playing a journalist in her twenties.
Says Sonakshi about her character, "Basically Noor is the journey of a girl who just happens to be a journalist."
She adds, "It's about the ups and downs in her relationships with friends, family and co-workers that every girl will relate to. It's a nice novel but since our film is based in Mumbai and not Karachi, it's more about a single girl in the city. There are no bomb sites, ours is a fun film."
Noor is set to release on April 7.
